Checkup time

Mission:
Getting To Know You
Location: Medbay
Alanah had moved in the majority of her stuff in both her room and her office. A lot of new staff where still making their way on-board so she figured this would be as good a time as any to meet up with the Doc.
She made her way into the Medical facility and check in with a nurse who took her information and had her sit down on a bio-bed before they went to fetch the CMO.
Calvin stepped out of his office, having stripped off his uniform coat and wearing his teal undershirt with the sleeves pushed up. Seeing the patient sitting on the bio bed he turned his direction towards her. "Hello new patient. I hear you need your physical done!" He stopped at the console controls to turn on the bio bed and to start the initial scans.
Alanah smiled at the doctor. " Yep figured I would get it knocked out so I can concentrate on getting my staff ramped up."
"Ah yes, the dreaded physical. Name?" Calvin began typing away at the console, the bio bed and sensors starting to do their work. "Any changes in health? Symptoms? Problems?
"Alanah Matadhi." She said to start. "Have been pretty healthy. Been slow on any combat fronts last couple years." She added.
"Been slow? Just not much sparring?" He asked, working his way over to the bed, glancing at the bed's screen and checking the numbers.
"Had a few training bumps but nothing compared to injuries I saw during the war." Alanah added
Calvin simply nodded to the statement, his mind obviously working in more than one place at the moment. He explained the different assessments he was doing as he did them, having her move and stretch while he palpated or auscultated different areas. "I'm assuming security then?" He finally piped up, half out of his mental checklist he was working with to bring the small talk back into the light.
Alanah was concerned by the question. Did he not have her file pulled up in front of him as he did the scans. "Yeah I am head of security." She answered keeping things friendly. "So where where you posted last?"
"USS Venture," he said as he typed some information into the PaDD. "I was there for about a year. Now I'm here. Have to say so far I'm happier with the Akira Class. Haven't explored much of the vessel though. Paperwork has kept me chained to my desk. You?"
"I was on the Shepherd." She replied with pep in her tone. "It was a nice ship but the Akira has much bigger teeth then a Norway class."
Calvin nodded as he used the medical tricorder to check a few last items. "Indeed it does, but hopefully teeth that we won't have to use. A good day is one that this isn't used," he said motioning to the sickbay in general. "Well everything checks out. If you need any advice or opinions on stretching or workout routines around your sparring, let me know." He offered as he closed the tricorder and took a step back.
"I appreciate that. Also on a side note I know how many try and skip out or delay seeing you if my team give you any problems, please contact me direct." She said as she stood from the bed.
He laughed, appreciating both the humor and trueness to her statement. "Ah, they may run, but they cannot hide from me. I'm not above tracking down and cornering crew. However if I have any trouble, I won't hesitate to contact you." He smiled in appreciation to her offer.
"I just know how some people can be and its not fair to you. Your just doing your job there is no point them making it harder then it already is." She said with a smile. "It was a pleasure, Doc."
"A pleasure indeed," He replied, turning to return to his office to work on his charts.
