Waiting... Just Waiting

Mission:
Into The Delta Triangle
Location: Kessik IV Mines
Bianca made sure to scuff her feet as she came up behind Haru and gently placed a hand on his shoulder as he tended to the patient in his little trauma area, "How's he doing?" She asked quietly, "Got the message out, but no chance to receive a response."
Haru turned. "He's alright. Everyone is holding up...well." But Haru wasn't. He was fighting it but he was not okay. He had a few broken ribs to be sure, a nasty bump on the head and his emotions still hadn't settled since the joining.
"What can I do to help you out here?" Bianca was tired, but it wasn't the weariness that she could hear in Haru's voice, "You need to take a break, get a few minutes away from this."
He smiled a little. "I am alright." But he could use help, he realized that. "There is a miner there. He needs to drink some water. Also we need to scan him." He shifted and hissed out a breath as the pain bolted through him.
"And you." Bianca's adrenaline surged at the hiss of pain, "If you're hurting, you're of less efficiency than we need you at." She reached around and plucked the tricorder from his hands, with a speed that pre-empted a chance to keep it out of her reach, which he could have done with ease. She glanced at it, cleared the current results and began a full scan of Haru.
He sat still allowing her to scan him. He already knew a concussion, some broken ribs....possibly something more. "I will be alright. My main worry is these people."
"You'll be fine, my ass." Bianca's eyes grimaced, "As soon as we get you back to the ship, you and Doc Morgan are going to be spending a bit of quality time together. Three ribs broken, a mild concussion, so no sleeping for you for a bit, you've got a bit of internal bleeding but Ah don't see anything major punctured." She reached out and placed a gentle hand on his arm, "You got most of that protecting me from all that crap. Thank you, Haru."
He smiled. "Any time." He looked around. "Now let's make sure these guys are okay. We'll be getting out soon." He hoped.
"Let's get you in a better condition, first. Ah'll give you the option: Wrap up the ribs so that they aren't shifting around, which'll still hurt, but you won't be potentially poking holes in yourself, or have me spend some additional minutes actually getting them fused into place." She gave a wink, already knowing he would probably choose the wrapping option.
"Wrap for now, fushion can wait." He handed her some wrapping. "It will need to be tight." He let her wrap his ribs tight and was grateful for the little bit of relief that it provided. "I hope they get to us soon."
Bianca sealed the bandage to his side and patted it lightly, "Ah'm sure they're workin' on somethin' already." She smiled at him.
"Hey dudes?" Gargan hustled towards the pair of starfleet officers. "There's like some sort of drone just popped into the mine shaft. Bull wants you to come take a look at it."
"Ah'm on my way." Bianca grinned at the Gorn and then at Haru, "You were just sayin'?" She hustled behind Gargan as he led the way, skipping half steps here and there just to keep up.
